Blog Post #2: Research Topic and 10 Tentative Sources

My research topic for my literature review will tackle technical communication (written) practices and gendered language in the workplace. The central question is a bit malleable depending on what information I can derive from the available source material, but I'm excited to dig in and see what I can find. I currently have 11 tentative sources:

  1. I'm not sure why the formatting got so wacky with this post... Anyway, in my search for sources, I found that while EbscoHost gave me a few good sources, it seemed to trickle down after the first couple pages. However, Jstor actually had a treasure trove of sources that related (or at least partially related) to my topic. I plan on visiting more of the research engines provided through the library page and see if I have better luck in expanding my search when I'm more narrowed in my central question.
